Mary died in a fire that destroyed her brother's (Benjamin) home.
On the farm in Glade Hill, Franklin Co., VA is the site of Byrd's Mill, situated on the Pigg River. The Cemetery on the property has the following grave:

Mary married Henry W. Wiggington on 6 Nov 1844 in Frankilin Co., VA. (Henry W. Wiggington was born circa 1823 in Virginia and died after 1870 in Martinsville, Henry Co., VA..)
