They have had 1 child. Note: Lee indicates that he has been married for 3 months; however, his wife is not listed here. The 1920 census records Lee as a widower.

James dies in 1918 and by 1920 Margaret has remarried: The 1920 census for Road Fork, Knox Co., Kentucky, District 121, page 118A, dated January 14, 1920 records Margaret Grills (35) with her husband Forster Grills (21) and Forster's step daughter Clara Broughton (16).
