(29 - VA/VA/VA) and Blanche (29 - VA/VA/VA) living at 2821 Lester Street near what is now Old Nicholson Street. Also in the household are John's brothers, Hugh I. Thurston (20) and Harvey B. Thurston (19). John is a Riveter at the C&O Shops, Hugh is a Laborer at the Pipe Shops, and Harry is a Foreman for the C&O Railroad.

The 1930 Federal Census for Richmond, VA, Jefferson Ward, District 94, page 262B / 263A, dated April 3, 1930 records Harry L. Hunter is employed as a Railroad Conductor and was first married at age 23 years [ca 1907] and his wife, Blanche, at age 18 [ca 1896].
