Beasley (35 - NC) with her children Amanda Beasley (14 - NC) and Anna Beasley (12 - NC) living with Jane's mother, Letha Royster (68 - NC). The 1900 Federal Census for Thomasville, Davidson Co., N. C. records the widow Troupe Anna Harrison (Jan 1850 - Granville Co., NC/Mississippi/Granville Co., NC) living at the Thomasville Baptist Orphanage. She indicates she was married for 7 1/2 years and has had 2 children both of whom are still living. While this researcher can not be sure that this is the daughter of James and Jane Beasley, there are several components to this data that are consistent with "our" Ann Harrison: born Granville Co., NC, married just 7 1/2 years - James died ca 1855, 2 children, a son named Traupe in the 1880 census [family name?] as well as her name Anna T. Harrison in the 1880 census above.

The 1910 Federal Census for Middle Creek, Wake Co., North Carolina records the widow Troupe A. Harrison (61 - NC/NC/NC) living with her unmarried son Thomas R. Harrison (38 - NC/NC/NC) and her widowed sister Martha H. Meadows (65 - NC/NC/NC) on Main Street.
