Ida is married to Scipio A. Jennings (45) and has a son William H. Jennings (4 3/12). Also in the household is Ida's daughter from her first marriage, Mary Ellenor Armentrout (14).

The widow Ella Elenor (age 74) is listed in the 1930 census living with Scipio, Ida, and William Jennings and they continue to live at 706 Court Street in Portsmouth. The World War I Draft Registration dated Sept 12, 1918 lists Scipio Africanus Jennings in Portsmouth, Va., born July 31, 1874 and living with his wife Ida Elenor Jennings at 706 Court Street. He is described as tall with blue eyes, dark hair and medium build.
