The 1860 Federal Census for Marshall Co., Kentucky, Benton P. O., page 772, dated July 5, 1860 records T. (76 - NC) and J. (53 - NC) Nosworthy with children L. J. (28 - KY), J. (18 - KY), and N. A. (15 - KY). T. Nosworthy (sic) has real estate valued at $800 and a personal estate valued at $400 and the record indicates that he is blind. L. J. Nosworthy (sic) has real estate valued at $700 and a personal estate valued at $400.

The 1870 Federal Census for Marshall Co., Kentucky, Benton P. O., page 213B, dated July 11, 1870 records Joan Norsworthy (64 - NC) living with her married daughter, Nancy A. Hurt (25 - KY), and Nancy's husband, Wm G. Hurt (29 - KY). Also in the household are Kathy Ross (14 - KY) and Luther G. Hart (9 - KY).
