The 1900 Federal Census for Newark, Ward 11, Essex Co., New Jersey, District 110 records the widow Elizabeth C. Conrad (Oct 1827) living at 285 Roseville Ave. This is listed as the Baptist Home for the Aged. This Elizabeth Conrad is born in England as is "our" Elizabeth. Also consistent with the 1880 census (see her husband's general notes) her mother is born in England, while her father is born in Scotland. These are the same locations as stated in the 1880 census (as recorded in the notes for her step daughter, Ann R. Conrad [Hagen]). Thus, this is most likely Elijah Conrad's 2nd wife.
Elizabeth married Elijah Conradt, son of Unknown and Unknown, circa 1866. (Elijah Conradt was born circa 1805 in Maryland and died on 2 Sep 1887 in Camden City, Camden Co., New Jersey.)
