Jesse Corn

  General Notes:

Jesse A Corn enlisted as a Private in Company H, 22nd Infantry Regiment North Carolina on 01 June 1862. He was hospitalized on 03 July 1862 at Richmond, VA (Gunshot wound of the thigh). Jesse was promoted to Full Corporal on 04 July 1862 but became a POW on 14 July 1863 at Falling Waters, MD. He was confined on 16 July 1863 at Point Lookout, MD (Estimated day) and paroled on 20 August 1863 at Point Lookout, MD (Estimated day). He was then transferred on 01 March 1864 (Estimated day) and exchanged on 03 March 1864.
He was once again a POW on 23 May 1864 at Jericho Mills, VA and confined on 25 May 1864 at Point Lookout, MD (Estimated day). He was exchanged on 14 March 1865 at Point Lookout, MD.
