Mrs. SARAH M. CASSELL, under date of December 19, 1904, P.A. Cassell writes us from Pomona, California of the death of his wife Mrs. Cassell. Mrs. Cassell was a DAUGHER OF PAUL CRAMER and after her marriage to P.A. Cassell, lives just west of Florid. Mr. Cassell send us the following clipping from his home paper.......Mrs. Sarah M. Cassell , wife of P.A. Cassell of Long Beach, California, died at Elsinore [probably Lake Elsinore, a city in Riverside County, California] on December 12, at the age of 60 years. The remains were brought to Pomona yesterday and funeral sevices will be conducted by Reverend T.H. Cornish from the Baptist Church, corner of 4th and Elm Streets and 2:00 on Friday afternoon, December 16. Mrs. Cassell leaves a husband and one daughter, Mrs. G.M. Herron of Pomona.
Sarah married Philip Augustus Cassell, son of Joseph Cassell and Sarah A. Lynch, circa 1863 in Putnam Co., Illinois. (Philip Augustus Cassell was born in Jul 1843 in Illinois and died circa 1906 in Long Beach, Los Angeles Co., California.)
