Mabel C. Routh (1890-1921) |
Mabel C. Routh
General Notes: The 1900 Federal Census for Broken Bow, Custer Co., Nebraska, District 61, page 50A records Mabel C. Routh (Sept 1890 - Indiana/Iowa/Indiana) living with her widowed father Albert Routh (Aug 1857 - Iowa/Ohio/Indiana) and siblings Frank A. (Aug 1880 - Indiana), and Harry L. (June 1885 - Illinois). Also in the household is Nancy Ager (Oct 1829 - Indiana/Indiana/Indiana) who is listed as "mother". It is interesting that Nancy is listed as having had no children ... pretty tough to be a "mother" that way. Perhaps she is a step mother or that Albert's mother remarried and had no children with her 2nd husband. The 1860 census indicates that Albert's mother was indeed a "Nancy" ... see notes on Albert Routh. Mabel married Frank Cramer/Creamer, son of Levier Bitner Cramer/Creamer and Lucinda Hartman, on 25 Dec 1909 in Broken Bow Township, Custer Co., Nebraska. (Frank Cramer/Creamer was born on 17 Jan 1888 in Nebraska, died on 4 Aug 1956 in Broken Bow Township, Custer Co., Nebraska and was buried in Custer Center Cemetery, Broken Bow, Custer Co., Nebraska.)
