A very pretty wedding was solemnized on Christmas day at high noon at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Routh when their daughter, Mabel C., was united in marriage to Mr. Frank Cramer son of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Cramer and Carrie E. Fox, daughter of Mrs. A. Springtube of New Henlena was united to Mr. Harry L. Routh. The ceremony was performed by Rev. R. H. Thompson. The two couples took their places to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, under an arch in the center of which hung a large white bell, the whole being decorated with holly. The brides were neatly attired in cream colored mohair trimmed with cream tucked satin. After congratulations the company sat down to a bountiful Christmas dinner. The afternoon was pleasantly spent in a social way and all departed wishing the newly wedded couples long lives of happiness and prosperity.
