Next door is a son, Andrew Horn (36 - PA) with his wife Citney (38 - PA) and children Israel (10 - Ohio), Mary J. (8 - Ohio), Milton (6 - Ohio), Edwin (4 - Ohio), Caroline (1 1/2 - Ohio), and Sarah E. (18 - PA). Sarah is probably Andrew's sister. George has real estate valued at $2,000 and Andrew has real estate valued at $400.

The 1860 Federal Census for Concord Township, De Kalb Co., Indiana, Auburn P. O., page 68 records George (71) and Louisa (74) Horn (indexed as Horn at ancestry.com) living next door to their son Andrew Horn (46 - PA) (indexed as Thorn at ancestry.com) with his wife Sydney (48 - PA) and children Israel (19 - Ohio), Mary J. (17 - Ohio), John M. [Milton] (15 - Ohio), Edwin (13 - Ohio), Caroline (11 - Ohio), and Sarah I. (9 - Ohio). They are farming families. Sarah and Lorena (see 1880 census record below) appear to be the same person.

The 1870 Federal Census for Concord Township, De Kalb Co., Indiana, Butler P. O., page 277B records Andrew Horn (56 - PA) with his wife Sidney (58 - PA) and children Israel (29 - Ohio) and Lorena (18 - Ohio). Andrew is a farmer with real estate valued at $5,000 and a personal estate at $800.

The 1880 Federal Census for Concord Township, De Kalb Co., Indiana, District 87, page 68 records Andrew (65 - PA) and Sidney (68 - PA) Horn with daughter Lorena (29 - Ohio). Next door is their son Israel Horn (39 - Ohio) with his wife Rachel (35 - Indiana) and daughter Minta Horn (4 - Indiana).


The 1880 Federal Census for Independence, Jackson Co., Missouri records Reuben WIRT (28 - Ohio/Ohio/Ohio) with his wife Margret WIRT (28 - Ohio/Ohio/PA) and daughter Mabel WIRT (6 - Ohio/Ohio/Ohio). Boarding in the household are Effie HORN (26 - Ohio/Ohio/PA) and Milton HORN (35 - Ohio/Ohio/PA). Effie is listed as "sister" while Milton as "husband". Reuban is a Tinner. This Milton is most likely Andrew's son, John Milton Horn.
