Obituary for Alfred Floyd McClenaghan:
A. Floyd McClenaghan, 72, formerly of 125 Highview Drive, Lancaster, died Thursday, October 2, at 4:45 PM at the Mennonite Home following a lengthy illness.
He was married to Mary Ann Hagen McClenaghan 48 years in August.
Born in Martic Township, he was the son of the late Alfred E. and Florrie E. Campbell McClenaghan.
He was a graduate of Manor-Millersville High School and Lancaster Business College. He served in the US Army 1951-1952.
McClenaghan was employed as an accountant with Trojan Boat Company which later operated as Whittaker and Bertram. He retired in 1991. He served as auditor for East Lampeter Township for many years and worked for 20 years as a part time tour guide for Dutchland Tours.
He was a long time member of Bethesda United Methodist Church, Holtwood, where he served as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, and treasurer of the Administrative Board. He was a licensed lay pastor in the United Methodist denomination. In more recent years, he was a member of Calvary Church, Lancaster.
He was President of the Rawlinsville Camp Meeting Association from 1961-1971 and for may years served as board member and treasurer of Total Evangelism Associates.
Surviving besides his wife is a son Craig A. husband of Carol A. McClenaghan of Brownstown, and a daughter, Diane L. wife of Peter E. Jacobs of Lititz, and four grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Calvary Church Chapel, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, PA on Sunday, October 5th at 3:30 PM with the Rev. Walter S. Jackson officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at Calvary Church on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 or to the Rawlinsville Camp Meeting, c/o Richard Smith, 639 Center Road, Quarryville, PA 17566.
