The 1910 Federal Census for Martic Township, Lancaster Co., PA, District 119, page 24B records Roy Alexander (21) with his wife of 1 year, Elizabeth (19), living in the home of his in-laws John (41 - PA) and Fannie (46 - PA) Karr. Also in the household are John and Fannie's sons William (15) and John (13) as well as Fannies' mother the widow Margaret Elmire (74 - born at sea / Germany / Germany). Margaret reports her immigration as 1836. [Note: the 1900 census for Lancaster City, District 56 records the widow Margaret Elmire (Oct 1835 - born at sea) working as a servant in the home of Henry and Rose Weill at 533 North Duke Street. Margaret reports having had 8 children of whom 5 are still living.

The 1920 Federal Census for Martic Township, Lancaster Co., PA, District 105, page 74B dated January 19, 1920 records Roy Alexander (30) with his wife Elizabeth (29) and their daughter Ethel (1 6/12) living on Mt Nebo Road. Also in the household is Roy's widowed mother, Leah Alexander (51).

The 1930 Federal Census for Mt. Nebo Village, Martic Township, Lancaster Co., PA, District 96, page 2199B dated April 15, 1930 records Roy E. Alexander (41) with his wife of 21 years, Elizabeth B. (40) his children Leoda E. (11), Frances A. (9), John L. (4 9/12), and Glenn E. (1 0/12) living on Mt Nebo Bank Road.

The 1940 Federal Census for Mt. Nebo Village, Martic Township, Lancaster Co., PA, District 36-123, page 124B dated May 4, 1940 records Roy Alexander (51) with his wife Elizabeth B. (49) his children John (14) and Glenn (11). Roy is employed as a Steamer for a Steamer Tractor for Tobacco Beds.
