The 1920 Federal Census for Providence Township, Lancaster Co., PA, District 119, page 212A records Clyde Alexander (18) as a hired hand in the household of Arlanda (44) and Lila (37) Hodson [Haddon?]. Also in the household is a possible sister of Clyde, Jennie Alexander (6) [Their parents have likely died and all the younger children have been farmed out. Lila could very well be Cylde's Aunt, listed as Iowa Alexander in the 1880 census.]. Arlanda is a farmer. Next door is Cylde's sister, Myrtle Alexander (13), living with the widow Susan Kauffman (73). [The given name Susan comes from the 1910 census record as does the surname Haddon for A. N. and Lila who are living near by Amos and Susan Kauffman] The 1930 census for East Drumore in Lancaster Co., PA records Aralanda (54) and Lila F. (47) Haddon with a female lodger, Jennie M. Alexander (17).
Note: The WWI Draft Registration Card for Aralanda Nelson Haddon lists his date of birth as April 26, 1875 (miss linked at ancestry.com, should be image 43 of 588 : World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918, Pennsylvania, Lancaster County, 4, Draft Card H). This card indicates that he is working for Susan Kauffman and that his wife is Lila K. Haddon ... thus it is reasonable to conclude that Lila is a Kauffman and not an Alexander)
