Death: Aug. 9, 1975 Salem City, VA
Lynn's father died when he was 12. The youngest of 4 children, he graduated from Old Salem High School and Roanoke College and was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity. He was a bookeeper for the limestone company, W. W. Boxley Company. Husband of Harriette T. (Burch) Woods. They had no children.
Funeral services were held Monday, 8/11/1975 at the First United Methodist Church in Salem by Rev. Lee B. Sheaffer. John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home.
"Lynn M. is a quiet boy, talks little... is a steady worker, attends strictly to his own business, but has splendid habits and strict integrity; and is in every way dependable. He will succeed."
