The 1910 Federal Census for Davis Township, Henry Co., Missouri, District 87, April 22, 1910, page 109B records the widowed Mrs. Mattie Adkins (45 - Missouri/KY/KY) with her children Goldie (16), James (13), and Joseph H. (10). Also in the household is Mattie's mother, Nancy E. Arnold (79 - KY/KY/KY) who has had 2 children both of whom are still living. B. is a Farmer and Blacksmith.

Sarah married Oscar Lee Adkins, son of John D. Adkins and Eliza Hutchinson, circa 1889 in Henry Co., Missouri. (Oscar Lee Adkins was born on 8 Apr 1866 in Missouri and died on 14 Aug 1901 in Henry Co., Missouri.)
