The 1910 Federal Census for Alexander, McKenzie Co., North Dakota District 237, dated June 7, 1910, page 9A records Chester Adkins (19 - Missouri/Missouri/Norway). This must be "our" Chester in spite of the mom's place of birth and his stated age because the WWI Draft Registration (below) has him living in McKenzie Co., ND.

The WWI Draft Registration for Chester Lee Adkins records his date of birth as August 27, 1888 in Missouri. As of June 5, 1917 he is married with 2 children in Moline, McKenzie Co., North Dakota.

The 1920 Federal Census for Keffler, McKenzie Co., North Dakota District 99, dated January 24, 1920, page 215B records Chester Adkins (31 - Missouri/Missouri/Missouri) with his wife Agnes (35 - Minnesota/ French Canada/ French Canada) and children Emmett (5), Meta (2 9/12), and Beulah (1 2/12).

The 1930 Federal Census for Ponca City, Kay Co., Oklahoma, District 33, dated April 4, 1930, page 51B records Chester L. (40 - Missouri/Missouri/Missouri) and Agnes (45 - Minnesota/New Brunswick/Nova Scotia) Adkins with children Emmet E. (15 - ND), Meta (13 - ND), Beulah (11 - ND), Malcolm Wayne (9 - ND), Thomas (8 - Minnesota), and Walter Lee (6 - Wyoming) living at 1501 South 5th Street. Chester works for an Oil Company doing yard work.

The 1940 Federal Census for Ponca City, Kay Co., Oklahoma, District 36-37, dated April 11, 1940, page 428B records Chester (50 - Missouri) and Agnes (55 - Minnesota) Adkins with children Beulah (21 - ND), Wayne (19 - ND), Thomas (18 - Minnesota), and Walter (16 - Wyoming) living at 900 East Chestnut Street. Chester works as a Tank Car Repairman for an Oil Refinery. Beulah is a Department Head / Sales Woman for a Reatil & Med Ordery Store while Wayne is a Laborer in Building Construction.

Chester married Agnes McBride circa 1914 in North Dakota. (Agnes McBride was born circa 1885 in Minnesota and died after 1940 in Ponca City, Kay Co., Oklahoma.)
