Also in the household are Sarah Darden (20) and Saml Blow (24). Wm is a farmer with real estate valued at $1,400

O., page 64A, dated August 4, 1860 records Martha Beal (52 - Hertford Co., NC) with her husband Wm Beal (59 - Southampton Co., VA) and children Martha (19 - Hertford Co., N.C.), Wm (17 - Hertford Co., N.C.), Cyprian (16 - Hertford Co., N.C.), and Rosie (8 - Hertford Co., N.C.). Wm is a farmer with real estate valued at $3,500 and a personal estate valued at $20,420.

The 1870 Federal Census for Harrellsville Township, Hertford Co., NC, Harrellsville P. O., page 337B, dated June 14, 1870 records Martha Beal (55 - NC) with her daughters, Martha F. Beale (25) and Rosa O. Beale (19) living with J. D. Britt (36) and his wife Susan E. Britt (33).
