The Roanoke Circuit Court Clerk's Office marriage record for W A Jackson and Elvie Lee Rooker [Vol 2 160 12] names William's parents as B. F. & Mary E. Jackson and Elvie's parents as John A. & Ann E. Rooker. The date of the marriage appears to be Oct 7, 1902; however, census records seems top indicate ca 1905 and thus perhaps the 2 vs 5 look on the written record.
