The 1940 Federal Census for Hamilton Township, Martin Co., North Carolina, District 59-9, page 109A, dated April 9, 1940 records Blannie D. Heath (64) living with her son, Roscoe E. Downs (38 - NC) and his wife Lillie Downs (37 - NC). Blannie indicates she was living in Suffolk, VA on April 1, 1935 while Lillie and Roscoe were in their same home in Hamilton at that time.
Note: www.findagrave.com reports that Lillie is the wife of Roscoe Elliot Downs and the daughter of William Henry Gray and Mattie Azella Roebuck.

The 1920 Federal Census for Norfolk, Washington Ward, Virginia, District 43, page 234B, dated January 9, 1920 records Blannie D. Heath (40 - NC/NC/NC) and George H. Heath (42 - NC/NC/NC). George is a House Carpenter.
