MRS. BELCHER DIES AT 97 - ROCKY MOUNT
Mrs. Lucy Emma Rogers Belcher, 97, of Penhook, Rt. 2 died Friday in a Montvale Nursing Home. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Doris Law and Mrs. Emogine Campbell, both of Penhook; one son, Thomas Lake Belcher, Penhook; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Coe, Salem, and Mrs. Margaret Gilpin, Wytheville; and 15 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Rocky Mount by the Rev. J.D. Hunt, III. Burial will be in the family cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday after 11 a.m.
