The 1860 Federal Census for the Windsor Township, Nansemond Co., Va., Zunni P.O., (page 621) records Susan Daughtrey (37) with her children Thos. T. (16), Virginia (14), Mills H. (11), Barsha A. (10), and Annette M. (8).

Susan is living in Windsor, Isle of Wight Co., Va. in 1870 with her children.

Susan married John B. Daughtrey, son of William B. Daughtrey and Permelia. (John B. Daughtrey was born about 1828 in Nansemond Co, VA. and died circa 1863.)
