The 1850 Federal Census for Isle of Wight Co., Va. page 163A records brothers Josiah (24) and Jason (21) Cutchins living next to their brother and his wife, Wm H. (29) and Sarah L. Cutchins (30) in Isle of Wight Co., Va. William Cutchins has real estate valued at $800 and owns 2 female slaves ages 16 and 6. Wm. H. and Sarah are next door to the Joshua and Priscilla Daughtrey family where future wife of Wm H., Asenath Daughtrey (7), resides. Also in the household with Wm. and Sarah is Hillary Cutchins. Josiah, Jason, and Hillary are 1/2 brothers to William.

The 1860 Federal Census for Isle of Wight Co., Va. page 373 records W. H. Cutchin (39) with wife S. L. Cutchin (41) living next to Joshua (65) and P. (56) Daughtrey and children E. M. (22), M. J. (20), Eley (21), Allen (19), A. (15), and Joshua T. (11). W. H. [William Henry Cutchin] has real estae valued at $1,800 and a personal estate valued at $2,000, including 2 slaves ages 16 and 4/12.

The 1870 Federal Census for Windsor District, Isle of Wight Co., Va. records Wm H. (48 and Sarah L. (50) Cutchin with real estate valued at $800 and personal property at $500.

The 1880 Federal Census for Windsor District, Isle of Wight Co., Va. District 33, page 319B taken June 1880 records W. H. Cutchen (57) with wife Sinith Cutchen (36) and daughter Mary (8/12).

William and Asenath are buried at the family plot near the Nansemond Co. [Suffolk] / Isle of Wight Co. line.

William next married Aseni(e)th (Asenath) Daughtrey, daughter of Joshua Daughtrey and Priscilla (Prissy) Holland, on 11 Dec 1878. (Aseni(e)th (Asenath) Daughtrey was born on 26 Feb 1842 in Isle of Wight Co., VA, died on 18 Feb 1908 in Nansemond Co, VA. and was buried in W.H.Cutchin Family Plot.)
