Hello
First of all, may I say that I love the quote at the bottom of your e-mail; it definitely brought a smile to my face and I could almost hear the lilt!
Secondly, I did find all 3 individuals that you inquired about to be interred in the same lot, (Fair View Lot 12, Section 1, Division 6), which was purchased and owned by W. E. Akers and the Rutledge Sisters. Following is a chronological listing of those interred in the lot, their date of death and age at death:

James Rutledge DOD 8/28/1921 @ 24
William Eugene Akers DOD 6/5/1934 @ 66
Perticia Ann Carter DOD10/19/1935 @ 10 days
Mrs. Charlotte (W.E.) Akers DOD 2/29/1940 @ 57
Miss Addie B. Rutledge DOD 10/28/1952@ 61
Sallie W. Rutledge DOD 5/31/1977 @ 90
Lucille Josephine Akers DOD 10/4/1996 @ 89 (DOB 1/5/1907)

I've made you a copy of the "Lot Diagram" which shows where they're each interred in the lot as well as the information I've provided above. I will also mark a map for you showing their location in the cemetery if you'd like to visit and perhaps obtain more information from any memorials on the lot. In addition, I found 2 obituaries with our files, one for William and one for Lucille that I'll copy for you. I can either USPS this information we have to share or you're welcome to stop by our office (M-F, 8:30 to 4:30) to pick it up. Please note that our front (Melrose) gate is closed today as the city is paving Melrose there, but we also have a back gate entrance on the Lynchburg/Salem Turnpike side (about 1 mile east from the light at Peter's Creek, on your left coming from Salem).
Thank you for your interest and inquiry
