The 1930 Federal New York Census lists Edmund Jr. Since Ed (father of Edmund Harvey and father-in-law of Amy Hagen Harvey) is Edmund Francis Harvey, named for his grandfather, it appears that the Edmund Harvey that immigrated to the United States was also Edmund Francis Harvey, however, Edmund James Harvey (father to the Ed who is married to Amy) knows that his grand father was Edmund Joseph Harvey.

(52 - Northern Ireland) and Mary (52 - Irish Free State) Harvey and children James D. Harvey (25 - NY), Edmond F. Harvey (23 - NY), and Rose M. Harvey (19 - NY) living at 492 West 136th Street. Edmond J. and Mary have had 8 years of Grade School while James and Edmond F. have had 4 years of High School and Rose has had 2 years of college. Edmond J. is working as a Motorman for the Subway and earned $2,579 working 52 weeks; James is a Clerk in a Towel Office and earned $368 working 26 weeks; Edmond F. is a Porter in a Hotel Apt and earned $70 working 4 weeks; while Rose is Mimeographing at N. Y. A. and earned $150 working 44 weeks.
