The 1900 Federal Census for Chuckatuck District, Nansemond Co., VA, dated June 4, 1900 (ED# 23, page 27B) records T. P. Winbine (sic) (b April 1848) and his wife M.S. Winbine (b Sept 1852) and children J.T. (son: b Aug 1876), Daisey (dau: b Aug 1879), T. P. (son: b. Feb 1881), A.W. (son: b Oct 1882), M.C. (dau: b April 1885), H.L.W. (dau: b Feb 1887), H.L.W. (son: b May 1889), L.A.W. (dau: b Jun 1891), P.M.W. (dau: b Apr 1893), J.S.W. (son: b Nov 1895), H.G.W. (Oct 1897). It is interesting to note that next door to this Winborne family is H. O. Winbine (sic) (April 1878 - VA/VA/VA) with his brother J. R. Winbine (June 1888 - VA/VA/VA). These 2 are nephews of Thomas P. Winborne and sons of Thomas' brother, John R. Winborne (who has not been found by this reseacher in the 1900 census).
The 1910 Federal Census for Chuckatuck, Nansemond Co., VA (ED#8, page 35B) records Thomas and Martha with 12 children, all surviving: Thomas A. (62) and Martha S. (57) with children Harry L. (21), Lucy A. (19), Pearl M. (17), Julian S. (15), and Hunter G. (11). Thomas and Martha have been amrried for 37 years and have had 12 children all of whom are still living.
The 1920 Federal Census for Chuckatuck, Nansemond Co., VA (ED#13, page 88B, dated Jan 3, 1920) records Thomas A. (72) and Martha S. (63) with children Julia [son] S. (25) and Hunter G. (21).

This land has been in the Winborne family aince the early 1800's. There are a total of seventeen graves, four with no markers. The Winborne Family Cemetery was established in the year 1906, by Thomas Parker Winborne, Sr. and his wife Martha Sarah Harrison Winborn after the death of their third grandchild, Lilla Martha Winborne born July 25, 1906 and died Nov. 26, 1906. The second person to be buried here was Sarah (Sallie) Stallings Winborne who died in 1906 and was buried at the edge of the field by the road.Geraldine Elizabeth Doughtie Infant daughter d/o Luther Carrol Sr. & Lucy Ann Winborne Doughtie. No marker. Thomas Parker Winborne, Sr. 04-18-1848 09-29-1921 Age 73 s/o John Bryan & Sarah Matalida Harrell Winborne. h/o Martha Sarah Harrison Winborne Father of twelve children. He was a farmer and very well thought of. Children: Will, John, Daisie, Thomas, Jr., Lonnie, Hettie, Harry, Lucy, Pearl, Julian, Mattie and Hunter.

Thomas Parker Winborne and John Richard Winborne (Brothers) married two sisters in a double Wedding in IW Co VA (not Nansemond Co [as this researccher had recorded]) on the 29 Jan 1973 (IW Co, VA Marriage Reg A 1854-1900 p23) - Thomas Parker Winborne married Martha Sarah Harrison and John Richard Winborne married Annie E (Angenetta Evalina) (Angie) Harrison. Angie was born 30 June 1858 IW Co, VA and died 1925 in Nansemond Co, VA. I do not know where she is buried. She had at least 5 children that married. Peggy Vaughan McKinney
