A copy of a page from the Hagen Family Bible in the possession of John Wesley Hagen (of Parkesburg, Chester Co., PA April 2008) records the birth of Elisah Hagen on January 10, 1824. Another record on this page of the bible records the birth of Elijah Hagen as July 31, 1821. One can only speculate that this is the birth of another son who died in infancy and that Elijah grew to manhood, married , and had a family in that his headstone records the birth date of July 31, 1821.
A page from the Hagen Family Bible in the possession of John Wesley Hagen (of Parkesburg, Chester Co., PA April 2008) records "Elisah Hagen departed this life March the 25, 1825 Aged 15 months".
