The 1940 Federal Census for Kempsville, Princess Anne Co., VA, District 77-4, page 60A / 60B, dated May 15, 1940 records Edward Wright (44 - Pencilvania (sic)) with his wife Sarah Wright (38 - Pencilvania). Edward Wright has completed 4 years of high school and is employed as a Draftsman for Iron Construction. Sarah Wright has completed 2 years of high school. On April 1, 1935 they were living in Allentown, PA.

Edward B. Wright Jr., 64, Lake Terrece, Norfolk, VA, died suddenly in a motel in Walterboro, S.C., while on a trip to Florida.
He wasw a meber of the Lutheran Church and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I.
He was past master of Corinthian Lodge, F&Am Norfolk, and a member of the Norfolk Consistory and a noble of the Mystic Shrine of Kedive Temple, Norfolk.
He was employed asss a draftsman at the Globe Iron Construction in Norfolk. He was the son of the late Edward B. Wright, a proof reader for the Reading Eagle.
Surviving are his mother, Catherine (Hagen) Wright; his widow Sara (Kistler) Wright; two daughters, Anna, wife of Niles Hughes, West Palm Beach, Florida and Sara, wife of Paul F. Bezler, Montrose Manor; two grand children, and a brother, Clarence M., Reading.
Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Samuel L. Koons officiating at Laureldale Cemetery. The Dougherty Funeral Home has charge.
