Henry is employed as a Laborer in a Boiler Shop while Lucille is employed as a Machine Operator in a Dress Factory.

The 1930 Federal Census for Norfolk City, Virginia, District 112-17, page 11B, dated April 2, 1930 records Lucille Stein (sic) (34 - LA/NC/VA) keeping a Boarding House. She was first married at age 18. She indicates that she is married; however, no husband is listed here. Boarders are Grover C. Lester (36 - NC) and Justine Lester (25 - Mississippi).
