On April 3, 1897, the Probate Court of Mobile Co., Alabama appointed Charles E. McLean to represent the minor Daisey E. Daughtry (5 years earlier it included her brother, David K. Daughtrey, as children of Riddick Daughtrey / Howell) in the Nansemond Co., VA estate hearings for the heirs of Riddick Daughtrey aka Riddick Howell. The original hearings were in 1892 when both David and Daisey were "infants", ie under 21 years of age.

David is a Printer and has been married to Theresa for 6 years. They have had no children.

The 1910 Federal Census for Mobile, Ward 4, Mobile Co., Alabama, District 88, page117A, dated April 29, 1910 records David K. Daughtry ( 37 - Alabama/VA/Alabama) with his wife Theresa (35 - Alabama/France/France) living at 756 Palmetto Street. David is a Pressman working in Printing and has been married to Theresa for 16 years. They have had no children.

The 1920 Federal Census for Napoleonville, Mobile Co., Alabama, District 86, page 7B, dated January 17, 1920 records the widow Theresa Daughtry (50 - Alabama/France/France) living Spring Hill Road. Also in the household are Theresa's widowed siblings: Ley Owen (45) and Jennie Barnes (61).
