The 1880 Federal Census for Martic Township, Lancaster Co., Pa. District 169, page 391A taken June 7, 1880 records George (27 - Cabinet Maker) and Sarah (28) Kessiner [Kissiner?]. Also in the household is mother-in-law Margaret Hagen (61). Next door is Sarah's brother, Albert Hagen, and family.

By 1900, George and Sarah have moved to Middletown, Dauphin Co., PA. The 1900 United States Federal Census for Middletown, Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, District 89 records George (Feb 1852 - PA) and Sallie (Mar 1849 - PA) Kissiner with daughter Eva J. (July 1882) living on Okie Street. George is employed as a Pattern Maker and has been married to Sallie for 20 years with 1 child.
