The 1900 United States Federal Census for Middletown, Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, District 89 records George (Feb 1852 - PA) and Sallie (Mar 1849 - PA) Kissiner with daughter Eva J. (July 1882) living on Okie Street. George is employed as a Pattern Maker and has been married to Sallie for 20 years with 1 child.

The death certificate for Sarah Hagen Kisiner is dated 1917 (see medical notes) ... the 1920 & 1930 census records below record a Sarah & Jennie Kissinger and are an interesting coincidence but not our family ...

The 1930 United States Federal Census for Gratz Borough, Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, District 9 records the widow Sarah Kissinger (84) with daughter Jennie Kissinger (53) renting a home on Market Street. Neither Sarah nor Jennie has employment. It is interesting to note that most heads of household living around Sarah and Jennie are employed in the Coal Mine.
