In November 2008 Wilma Fauth Jones sent the following copy from a book on the Alexander Family of Lancaster, PA published ca 1922:
Charles G. Alexander was born October 29, 1885. He grew up on his father's farm and was educated in the Common School and in Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster, Pa. As his Sophomore year was closing (1909) he sickened and died. He was a bright, promising young man.
