The 1880 United States Federal Census for Wise Co., Texas, District 130 page 215B records P. W. Minter (25) with wife M. L. (18-Martha Lucy Foster) and daughters G. A. (1) and M.L. (5/12-Jan.) Since the census was taken in June 1880, I believe the 1900 records for Minnie's birth to be Jan 1880 or Dec 1879, not Dec 1880 as listed in the 1900 census.
The 1900 Federal Census for Woodville, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory records Peyton Minter (June 1854-Virginia) with wife Lucy (Nov 1869-Texas) and children Minnie (Dec 1880), William (Dec 1882), Fannie (Nov 1885), Loula (Jan 1888), Kate (Feb 1890), Tabitha (Jan 1892), Gertrude (Apr 1894), and Ruth (Sept 1897). Minnie, William, and Fannie are listed as born in Texas while the other children born in Indian Territory which means that the family moved into the Oklahoma Territory ca 1887.
