(45) and children Julia A. (14), Charles L. (11), Sally S. A. (9), George W. A. (7), and Thomas O. (4). Thomas is a Black Smith.

The 1900 Federal Census for the Little Creek District, Franklin County, Virginia, District 29, page 126B/127A taken June 5, 1900 records Thomas D. Hunt (July 1836) with his wife Martha G. (Feb 1856) and children Cleveland Hunt (Dec 1884), Steve Hunt (Sept 1886), Josie Hunt (Aug 1888), Carrie Hambrick (March 1893), and Jesse Hambrick (Aug 1894). Thomas and Martha have been married for 17 years and have had 5 children all of whom are still living.

The 1910 Federal Census for the Little Creek District, Franklin County, Virginia, District 39, page 136A taken April 21, 1910 records the widower Tomas (sic) D. Hunt (74) with his children J. C. Hunt (25), Mary R. Hunt (18), and Julies L. Hunt (16).

While I haven't done an indepth search to see if Thomas D. is related, I did find your tree and the name matches with the year of birth. I have a photo of his memorial if you would like it.

On June 6, 1900 Thos D. Hunt of Helms, Franklin Co., VA applied for a Confederate Veterans Pension. His unit was Co. C, 10th Va Cavalry. He states that he is 66 years old and that the nature of his disability is "old age and general break down". In answering "Is this total?" he state no - but no able to do very much manual labor.
He signs with an "X" (his mark)

On April 14, 1909 Thos D. Hunt of Franklin Co., VA applied for a Confederate Veterans Pension. He states that he is 74 years old and has become totally disabled.

Thomas married Sallie L. Williamson on 29 Nov 1860 in Franklin Co., VA. (Sallie L. Williamson was born circa 1835 in Virginia and died circa 1881 in Franklin Co., VA.)
