The 1910 Federal Census for Pennsylvania, Lancaster City, ED#74, page 236B taken April 1910 records Emerson (31) and Lizzie (28) Hagen married for 8 years with children Albert (7), Roy (5), and Raymond (0/12) living at 149 Madison Street. Emerson and Lizzie have been married for 8 years and have had 3 children. Also in the household are Mary (14) and Lizzie (11) Hagen listed as sisters of Emerson. Emerson is employed as a molder in an iron works. Mary and Lizzie are a puzzle but perhaps they are actually the Mary and Ethel listed in the 1900 census living with Emerson's parents: Albert and Sarah Hagen. Actually, Ethel is probably Elvin Hagen, son of Emerson's brother, Joseph. Sometime during this time period, Joseph moved to New York and perhaps his son, Elvin, stayed for a while in Lancaster with family.
