Henry S. Reinhold
- Born: Cir 1840, Lancaster City, Lancaster Co., PA
- Marriage: Lovinia
- Died: 6 Apr 1891, Harrisburg, PA at age 51
- Buried: 8 Apr 1891, Lancaster Cemetery Lot# 1097
General Notes:
In The Shirk Family History, H. Y. Shirk writes in 1914 that Henry Reinhold died in Harrisburg, PA in 1892. There is a Henry Reinhold buried at Lancaster Cemetery in Lot 1097, the same Lot # as Margaret Ann Hagen ... possible Shirk connection ... his mother is Maria Shirk, Salome's sister. He died on April 6, 1891 at age 52.

The 1880 United States Federal Census for Harrisburg, Dauphin Co., Pennsylvania, District 86 records Peter B. (36 - PA) and Mary (35 - PA) Brindle with son John F. Brindle (11/12 - July) living at 513 North Second Street. Also in the household is brother-in-law Harry S. Reinhold (39). Peter is a dry goods merchant while Harry is a dry goods clerk.
The research below was first thought to be "our" Henry; however, there is Henry & Lovinia Reinhard and family in the 1870 Northampton Census and thus indicates that they are 2 different people. "Our" Henry Reinhold was most likely never married ... I will leave the information below just for research purposes. The 1870 United States Federal Census for Lower Saucon, Northampton Co., Pennsylvania records Henry Reinhard (31 - Brickmason) with his wife Lovenia (23) and children William (4), Emma (2), and Harvey E. (6/12).
The 1880 United States Federal Census for Upper Saucon, Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania, District 190 records Henry (40) and Lovinia (31) Reinhard (sic) with children Harvey (10), Wilson (6), and Arthur (2). Henry is a laborer and all family members and their parents are born in Pennsylvania. This seems to be the correct family in that later census records indicate that Lovinia becomes a widow and remarries by 1897: however Harry S. Reinhold is living in Harrisburg in 1880 ... see notes on his sister, Mary.
The 1900 United States Federal Census for Bethlehem, Northampton Co., Pennsylvania, District 98 records Levine (May 1847) married to George Williams (March 1858) with George's step children Wilson J. Reinhard (July 1870), Arthur M. Reinhard (March 1878), Harry (Sept 1880), Jenny M. Reinhard (Sept 1884), and Ida Reinhard (Aug 1879 - daughter-in-law married to Wilson).
The 1910 United States Federal Census for Bethlehem Ward 5, Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania, District 163 records Lovinia (68) married to George Williams (50) with George's step son Harry Reinhard (26). George and Lovinia have been married for 13 years and is a second marriage for both. Lovinia indicates that she has had 9 children of whom 5 are still living.
Henry married Lovinia. (Lovinia was born in May 1847 in Pennsylvania and died after 1920 in Bethlehem, Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania.)
