(3/12 - VA) living at 70 High Street [later renumbered and became 306 High Street). William is a Dentist married since age 35 while Beatrice reports being married since age 23. The home was torn down ca 2000 when Roanoke College remodeled the East Entrance to the College from Thompson Memorial (Rte 311) [In a correction of facts, from an email from Frank Greenbaum dated July 5, 2009: The house at 306 [70 High St. before renumbering] High Street [my mom grew up in], was donated to the college, along with the property, by William Clyde Jones in the late 60s. It was MOVED, NOT torn down, 3 blocks to Beech Road off Hawthorn Rd. where it stands today. William's dental office was next to the Bank building at the corner of College and Main and was torn down ca 1980. It is now [as of July 2009] a parking lot for Macado's Restaurant.
