The 1900 Federal Census for Piqua City, Ward 3, Miami Co., Ohio, District 94, page 182B records Alonzo (May 1858 - Ohio/Ohio/Ohio) and Emma (June 1867 - IL/PA/IL) Stapleton with children Florence E. (Oct 1883) and Blanche E. (Aug 1885). Alonzo and Emma have been married for 17 years and have had 4 children all of whom are still living. No idea why the 2 other children, Albert and Gladys, are not listed. Alonzo is a Plasterer.
The 1910 Federal Census for Piqua City, Ward 3, Washington Township, Miami Co., Ohio, District 135, page 187B records Emma (43 - IL/PA/IL) and Alonzo L. (49 - Ohio/Ohio/Ohio) Stapleton with their children Albert R. (21) and Gladys H. (14) living at 901 West High Street. Alonzo is a Plasterer and has been married to Emma for 27 years. They have had 4 children all of whom are still living.
