OBITUARY HERBERT G. MYERS
Herbert Guy Myers, 80, of Union Bridge, died Tuesday in Frederick Memorial Hospital after an illness of several days. Born in Carroll County a son of the late David and Ellen Coppersmith Myers, he was a member of the Union Bridge Church of the Brethren and was employed with Yingling Brothers Meat Packers, until his retire- ment several years ago. Surviving are his wife Mrs. Ada Myers Myers, one daughter, Mrs. J. Howard Fox [Dorothy Grace Myers Fox; 1909-1975], Union Bridge; three grandchildren eight great granchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Union Bridge funeral home of D. D. Hartzler and Sons this evening. Services will be held from the Funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Harold Bowser, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Pipe Creek Cemetery near New Windsor. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the Memorial Fund of the Union Bridge Church of the Brethren.

Herbert married Ada Ann Myers, daughter of William B. Myers and Fannie A. Stitely, circa 1907 in Carroll Co., Maryland. (Ada Ann Myers was born on 1 Jan 1887 in Maryland, died in Sep 1971 in Union Bridge, Carroll Co., Maryland and was buried in Pipe Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Union Bridge, Carroll Co., Maryland.)
