The 1900 Federal Census for Uniontown, Carroll Co., Maryland, District 119, page 31B records David (Sept 1841) and Susan E. (April 1845) Myers with daughter Goldie P. (Oct 1882).
The 1910 Federal Census for Uniontown, Carroll, Maryland, District 72, page 44B records David E. (71) and Susan (65) Myers. They have been married 42 years and have had 9 children of whom 5 are still living.
Baust's Cemetery, Carroll Co., MD BAUST's (Emanuel) Lutheran/Reformed Cemetery is located on Old Taneytown Road (Rt 832) near Tyrone, with Baust Church Road running south, lying southeast of Taneytown in Carroll County, Maryland. The ground was deeded to Peter SHOEMAKER and others for church purposes in 1797 with the church being erected in 1815. The old cemetery contains many German inscriptions, all in this list except two or three which were so defaced, a reading could not be deciphered. Peter SHOEMAKER and his wife Catherine, the original owners of the land now occupied as a cemetery, lie buried in the old cemetery with their associates. The new cemetery was started about 1850 and the church was remodeled in 1889.
