Eliza's maiden name, Keyser, is taken from the 1933 death certificate of her daughter, Ella, while her maiden name, Kaiser, is taken from the 1948 death certificate of her daughter, Ada.

Note: The 1850 Federal Census for the 4th Election District part of Earl Township, Lancaster County, PA, page 261A, dated Sept 2, 1850 records Eliza Keiser (22 - PA) with her father, Leonard Keiser (49 - PA), and Sarah Keiser (38 - PA), George (15 - PA), and Leamon (1).

The 1860 Federal Census for New Holland Post Office, Earl Township, Lancaster Co., PA, page 89A, dated June 7, 1860 records Leonard Keizor (60) with his wife Sarah Keizor (53) and son Lemon Keizor (11). Leonard is employed as a Cigar Maker. On on side of Leonrad's family is John Rannels (75) with Henry Rannels (52) and Sarah Rutter (17) in that household. On the other side of Leonard's family is William Rannels (30 - Carpenter) with wife Eliza [Keizor - Leonard's daughter] (31) and children Emma (4) and William (2/12).

The 1870 Federal Census for New Holland & Earl Township, Lancaster Co., PA, New Holland P. O., page 308B, dated August 3, 1870 records Leonard Keiser (69) with his wife Sarah Keiser (65) and son Lemon Keiser (25). Leonard is retired while Lemon is employed as a Segar (sic) [Cigar] Maker. Nearby is Levi Rannels and family. Leonard's daughter, Eliza, married into the Rannels family.

The 1880 Federal Census for New Holland & Earl Township, Lancaster Co., PA, District 113, page 200B, dated June 4, 1880 records Leonard Keiser (69 - PA/PA/PA) living with his son, Lemuel Keiser (31 - PA/PA/PA), and his wife, C. Emma Keiser (23 - PA/PA/PA), and their son B. Frank Keiser (10/12 - August). Leonard is a Retired Weaver while Lemuel is a Segar (sic) Maker.
