Obituary for Frances A. Haas
Services for Frances A. Haas, 57, of 3318 McKentley St., Laureldale, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m.
The Rev. Norman E. Dresher will officiate at the Walter B. Christ Funeral Home, Laureldale.
Mrs. Haas was found in the bedroom of her home Friday afternoon and was pronounced dead at 6:08 p.m. in Comminity Gerenal Hospital.
Dr. William E. Glosser, deputy coroner, ordered an autopsy today.
Laureldale police reported that they found a pill bottle and a still warm hibachi in the bedroom. Police said there was still one pill in the bottle. The pill was taken to the hospital to be analyzed.
Investogators said her death may have been caused by fumes from the charcoal burner, which she had purchased earlier in the day. It was not determoined why she had lighted the burner in the bedroom.
Wife of William G. Haas, Mrs. Haas was born in Reading, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Martha M. (Schaeffer) Yocom.
In addition to her husband, she is survuived by two sons: Thomas M., Otey, and Richard H., Reading; and one grandson; and one brother, Harry E. Yocom, Laureldale.

Arlene married William G. Haas. (William G. Haas was born on 19 Apr 1921, died on 18 Sep 1996 in Reading, Berks Co., PA and was buried in Aulenbach Cemetery, Reading, Berks Co., PA.)
