see notes on Baltis Higgins, father of David Higgins. Elizabeth Jane Frye's parents are probably John and Mary Frye. In the 1850 census for Tyler Co., Va., John is listed as born in 1780 in Virginia while Mary born in 1784 in Pennsylvania. All their children are listed born in Pennsylvania.

Elizabeth married David W. Higgins, son of Baltis Higgins and Mary Neely, on 21 Oct 1847 in Tyler Co., Va. (now West Virginia). (David W. Higgins was born about 1828 in Greene Co., Pa. and died after 1880 in Lawrence Township, Lawrence Co., Ohio.)
