53 Graduate With Honors, 27 With Honorable Mention, Largest Number of Honors Ever Given
The sixty-sixth Commencement of the college was held on Tueday, June 10th, at 10:30, and was preceded by an organ recital by Professor Geer. The exercises began with the academic procession of alumnae, seniors, faculty and trustee. Helen Dawes, the president of the sophomore class, marshalled the seniors, and Mrs. Horace Baker, (Jane Torrance, '07) was Marshal of the Day. The Reverend William B. Hill gave the Invocation; and then followed the Commencement address by the Honorable Franklin D. Roosevelt, Governor of the State of New York. After this, President MacCracken spoke briefly to the seniors.
