In Loving Memory of Harvey E. Norfleet
Harvey Edward Norfleet, 93, passed away January 6, 2010. Born in Nansemond County, VA he was the son of the late Harvey E. Norfleet, Sr. and Mary Virginia. He was predeceased by his wife, Bennie Wood.
Mr. Norfleet served in the Pacific Theater in the Coast Guard during World War II. He was a manager for Holland \endash Jones Co. and was a member of Holland Christian Church.
Mr. Norfleet is survived by his sons, Jeff Norfleet and wife Teresa, Townsend Norfleet and wife Faye both of Suffolk; daughter, Mary Emily Kendzierski and husband Mike of Plainsboro, NJ; sister, Jackie Saunders of Suffolk; grandchildren, Nicholas Norfleet, Whitney Norfleet, Benjamin Norfleet, Stephanie Norfleet.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Holland Christian Church by the Rev. Jay Slater. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holland Christian Church, 6733 South Quay Road, Suffolk, VA 23437. Condolences may be registered at www.rwbakerfh.com.
