See general notes on her Fanny's sister, Harriet, for 1860 & 1870 census records ... no other records for Bill and Fannie [Emmeline] Allen have been found after 1870; however, there appears to be a record for the family in 1880 in Norfolk: The 1880 Federal Census for Norfolk, Norfolk Co., VA, District 75, page 514A, June 8, 1880 records Fannie E. Allen (45 - VA/VA/VA) with her husband W. B. Allen (45 - NC/NC/NC) and their niece Fannie B. Jenkins (17 - VA/VA/VA) living at 113 Granby Street. W. B. is a Book Keeper.

The 1850 Federal Census for Nansemond Co., VA, page 214B, dated Nov 21, 1850 records Emaline Daughtrey (19 - Nansemond Co.) living with Exum Jenkins (61 - Nansemond Co.). Also in the household are Elizabeth Jenkins (54 - Nansemond Co.), Leora Jenkins (14 - Nansemond Co.), and Susan Waters (38 - Nansemond Co.). Exum Jenkins was appointed the guardian for Emmeline and her sister Harriet during the 1840 - 1841 court hearings after the death of their father, Mathew Daughtrey.
