Dodson (32) and their children Henry J. (9), Fannie E. (7), Sallie A. (5), Robt H. (3), and Charles (1). Also in the household are Felix's siblings Josiah Dodson (16), J. G. Dodson (35) [Joshua G.], Elizabeth G. (23), and Rebecca A. Dodson (21). Felix has real estate valued at $7,000 and a personal estate at $7,728 including 5 slaves. The siblings have no value in real estate but have a personal estae valued at: Josiah at $2,500 including 4 slaves; J. G. at $12,000 including 5 slaves, Elizabeth G. 3,500 including 3 slaves; and Rebecca A. $3,000 including 2 slaves.

Felix enlisted in Company A, 38th Infantry Regiment Virginia on 14 October 1864. He was never paid for his service. Felix was taken prisoner April 2, 1865 at the Battle of Dinwiddie Court House. He was confined to City Point, VA on April 3 transferred to Point Lookout Prison, Maryland on April 4. He was released June 11, 1865 after swearing an Oath of Allegiance to the United States (GeneralOrder # 109 AGO).
