LYDIA NORFLEET Suffolk, January 1 - Age 80, a former resident of Holland, died Thursday, January 1, 1953 at Patrick Henry Hospital after a long illness. She was the daughter of Elisha Franklin Norfleet and Margaret Holland Norfleet of Nansemond County. The body was brought to the I.O. Hill and company Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 1953 at 1:30 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Allen L. Hurdel, pastor of the Holy Neck Christian Church and the Rev. J.H. Lightborn, Jr., pastor of the Holland Congregational Christian Church. Burial will be in Holland Cemetery. Pallbearers were C.T. Parker, Sumner Rawles, Rudolph Doughtie, Waverly N. Holland, Harvey Worrell, Gordon Twine, Charlie Howell, Jr. and Jesse Rawles Byrd.
