John Lovelace, resident of this city for a number of years, passed away at the home of his brother, George Lovelace, about a mile south of the city, Friday. Death followed a stroke of paralysis. Funeral services were held from the Lovelace residence Saturday. The body was taken to the former home near Price, N.C., where burial was made. Surviving are his wife and seven children.
John married Florence Etta Draper, daughter of Peter Davis Draper and Mary Lucinda Nunn, on 28 Dec 1905 in Martinsville, Henry Co., VA.
